The Studio

We make games
we wish existed.

Now What? Games is an independent game studio from Romania focused on creating original games with unusual ideas, memorable mechanics and a personality of their own.

We are still at the beginning of our journey, but the goal is simple: build games we genuinely want to play.

Our Principles

Original ideas first

We don't start with trends. We start with an idea that sounds fun, strange or interesting enough to become a game. Every project should have its own identity and a clear reason to exist.

Gameplay over everything

A game can look incredible, but it still needs to be fun. We prototype quickly, experiment constantly and focus on creating moments players will want to experience again.

Player-first, always

No pay-to-win. No artificial frustration. No mechanics designed simply to keep players online longer. We want players to stay because they're having fun.

Built independently

Being independent gives us the freedom to experiment, take risks and change direction when an idea isn't working. We use modern tools and technology to turn small ideas into complete multiplayer experiences and worlds.

Romania

Small studio. Big ideas.

Now What? Games started with a simple question:

“Why not make the games we keep wishing someone else would make?”

That's what we're doing.

Our first project, Baba Oarba, transforms a familiar childhood game into a chaotic multiplayer experience where one player hunts almost completely blind while everyone else tries to hide, move and survive.

It's weird. It's unpredictable.

And that's exactly the kind of game we want to make.
